TopStone Interior
TopStone stone carpet is a modern building material used both in exteriors and interiors, and not only for floors and stairs. The unique look of the surface catches the eye with its originality and also allows many variations and combinations of decor and mosaics. It creates an interesting, new design when complemented with appropriate accessories.
TopStone combines the best of what you expect and want from floors in interiors.
Features:
- floor material also known as stone carpet suitable for all types of interiors.
Possible applications:
- Living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens,
- bathrooms, entrance halls, exhibition areas,
- conservatories, hallways, stairways,
- saunas, indoor poolsides,
- garages, basements, industrial premises, ...
Advantages:
- Natural look
- Easy maintenance (vacuuming, sweeping, wiping with a damp cloth, mopping, steam cleaning)
- It doesn't feel cold (great in combination with underfloor heating)
- It does not contain nonylphenol or solvents and is harmless after curing
- It combines the advantages of all types of floors
- Natural look, long life, high mechanical resistance
- Footfall noise reduction (does not transmit shock, vibrations)
- Combinable with other surfaces, you can create a variety of decors, mosaics, color combinations
- TopStone surface also serves as levelling
Characteristics:
- Stone carpets work just like standard carpets, the dust particles stick to the structure, so the amount of dust is reduced.
- Preparation of the substructure, removal of incoherent parts, opening the surface (grinding with dust vacuuming).
- TopFix Interior Primer (consumption of about 0.2 to 0.8 kg/m2 based on the absorbency of the substrate)
- TopStopne surface laying using the EpoStone Clear binder; minimum thickness of the surface is 1.5x higher than the largest fraction size (stones), 2x is recommended.
- The surface is walkable after 24 hours at 20 °C and fully cured and loadable, including vehicle traffic, after 7 days.
Application:
- living rooms, children's rooms, conservatories, etc.
Advantages:
- excellent thermal conductivity, hypoallergenic - less dust
- Apply TopGel material (special three-component gel) to the basic open structure of the TopStone surface (see section A) after approx. 24 hours (or earlier depending on temperature).
- TopGel is applied with a special rubber trowel for epoxy and its consumption varies with respect to the fraction size of the stones and depends on the need to cover the surface.
- The estimated consumption for the 2-4 mm and 3-5 mm fraction size is 1.25 kg/m2,
- the estimated consumption for the 4-7 mm and 4-8 mm fraction size is 1.5 kg/m2.
- Another TopGel layer can be applied after curing, if necessary.
- The resulting surface is walkable approximately after 24 hours at 20 °C.
Application:
- kitchens, hallways, living rooms, etc.
Advantages:
- surface without joints, the same maintenance as with ceramic tiles, practical matte textured natural appearance of the surface

- Apply TopLock material (special one-component paste) to the basic open structure of TopStone surface (see section A) after approx. 24 hours (or earlier depending on temperature), and follow by applying the EpoStone Clear material after full clarification.
- Recommended fraction size of the stones in the TopStone surface is up to 5 mm. Larger fraction size may lead to high TopLock material consumption and long curing time.
- TopLock is applied with a squeegee and the consumption is about 0.8 to 1 kg / m2, depending on the fraction size of the stones.
- Another TopLock layer can be applied after curing, if necessary.
- The resulting surface is walkable approximately after 24 hours at 20 °C.
Application:
- surfaces that are not permanently exposed to water
- hallways, living rooms, etc.
Advantages:
- surface without joints, the same maintenance as with ceramic tiles, practical matte textured natural appearance of the surface

- Apply EpoStone Clear binder (material consumption is about 0.15 to 0.22 kg/m2) to the closed TopStone Lock structure with a roller after 24 hours at 20 °C (the material must be clear throughout the whole layer as a proof of finished curing).
- The surface is walkable after 24 hours at 20 °C
Application:
- hallways, public spaces, frequently mopped surfaces
Advantages:
- better abrasion resistance, easy maintenance
impermeable surface for permanent exposure to water, higher wear resistance
- EpoStone Clear is applied to the basic open structure of TopStone surface (see section A) after about 12h. Recommended fraction size of the stones in the TopStone surface is up to 5 mm. Larger fraction size may lead to high EpoStone Clear material consumption.
- EpoStone Clear is applied with a squeegee, the consumption is approximately 1.5 - 3 kg / m2 (the structure of this system is closed throughout its cross section, thus the consumption depends on the thickness of the Topstone surface - the smaller the fraction, the lower the thickness - the consumption of EpoStone Clear in case of surface thickness 1 cm is 3 kg).
- Another EpoStone Clear layer can be applied after curing, if necessary.
- The surface is walkable after 24 hours at 20 °C and fully cured and loadable, including vehicle traffic, after 7 days.
Application:
- heavily loaded areas, areas permanently exposed to water, bathrooms, showers, entrances to commercial buildings, indoor swimming pools, vestibules, hallways, etc.
Advantages:
- surface without joints, high resistance, permanent water resistance, the same maintenance as with ceramic tiles, practical structured surface
Attention!!!
The basic open structure of the TopStone surface must be approximately 2 mm / 2 m flat, so that the resulting surface after the closure exhibits the same structure and so-called slit sites can not be seen. These surfaces do not fill the waterproofing function, do not rip cracks, if necessary the substrate must be insulated (eg water-borne plants). When using TopStone on heated floors, we recommend using a full-circumferential expansion strip (TopStone Supplementary Assortment).
Quick and easy implementation
In the first step of implementation always prime substrate with TopFix interior material and then immediately follow by laying of the TopStone surface. It is possible to enclose the structure with TopLock or EpoStone Clear material in the next step (system B and C above). Applied within 24 hours. The surface is walkable 24 hours after completion and fully loadable after 7 days.
Interior and health
Unique EpoStone Clear binder has been developed for application in interior. It is odour-free, doesn't contain nonylphenol and hardeners, has higher wear resistance and is extra clear with enhanced UV stability.
Easy maintenance and cleaning
Surface with open structure is maintained with vacuum cleaners in the same way as standard carpets. Surfaces with closed structure are maintained by sweeping or by damp mopping in the same way as ceramic tiles.
TopStone Quality
TopStone surface is a result of many years of development. The product has passed laboratory tests and is based on a patented binder technology (resin). Its quality lies in the corresponding weight proportion of the binder per square meter of surface and in the exact determination of the coverage of material. TopStone is simply a unique and fair solution.
